A registered Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist she completed her MD in 1997 from Sarojini Naidu Medical College Agra. Since 2014 she also trained in Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy from the ISTDP Institute Washington DC. In addition she is a trainer for Intensive Short Term Dynamic psychotherapy in India and teaches the curriculum designed by the ISTDP Institute .
